As the number of available places has increased, we are still accepting nursery admissions. If you’d like your child to start at Rodbourne Cheney Nursery in April, register your interest here.
Children at Rodbourne Cheney Nursery benefit from:
- Inspirational teaching staff.
- A tailor-made, literacy-focused curriculum.
- Exceptional outdoor and physical education provisions.
- A caring and safe learning environment.
To kick-start their journey into education in a fun and engaging way, our children take part in learning activities based on a different nursery rhyme and traditional story every week.
For example, they recently learned about The Gingerbread Man and took part in activities such as making gingerbread men, roleplaying the story, and singing and dancing to the Gingerbread Man rhyme.
We believe it’s important for our children to keep active at nursery, as well as playing and enjoying their learning. To prevent children from spending all day inside, we’ve recently opened a brand-new outdoor area where our children can safely play in the fresh air.
Rodbourne Cheney Nursery is run by our excellent nursery teachers. These lovely people can’t wait to meet all the new children and parents over the coming months. As well as providing an engaging learning experience for all our nursery children, our team are also trained in pastoral support.
Every child has to overcome different obstacles as they grow. At our nursery, we are proud to provide a comprehensive and reliable support network. Our dedicated family support worker, Leanne Ladd, is always available to help parents with concerns and questions about their child or family life in general.
Prospective attendees for our nursery are, from January onwards, able to apply for 30 hours of universal funding per week.
Nursery is your child’s first point of entry into the wider world. It’s crucial to make the right decision when choosing their starting place. If you think Rodbourne Cheney Nursery is right for your child, apply now. We can’t wait to meet you and your child!
